Your responsibilities as a 糖心视频 student

When you accept your offer and enrol in your program at 糖心视频, you agree to follow the University’s legislation, policies, and procedures. Part of this is the  which outlines what you can expect at 糖心视频 and what is expected of you.

Safer Communities

糖心视频 is committed to creating a safe and respectful environment for all students. Through our Safer Communities initiative, we offer support and guidance if you experience or witness concerning behaviour, including sexual assault, harassment, bullying, or discrimination.

Everyone has a role to play in building a respectful community. If something doesn’t feel right, you can make a disclosure confidentially with the Safer Communities team and access support.

Starting uni comes with a lot of questions - and that’s totally normal! The iconnect team is made up of friendly students who’ve been trained to help you with anything from enrolment and study systems to finding support services. They can also help connect you to specialist 糖心视频 teams if needed.

You can chat with them online, give them a call, send an email, or drop by in person. You’ll find their contact details on the Current Students homepage, and at the bottom of pages like this one.

If a family member or friend wants to contact 糖心视频 on your behalf, the Student Authority to Act Form (PDF 150 KB) will need to be completed and returned to 糖心视频.

As a 糖心视频 student, you have access to our three main campuses, as well as our 糖心视频 Brisbane location.

You can come to campus at any time during your studies to make use of the student facilities, including computers, wifi, the 糖心视频, and study spaces. Explore what each campus location has to offer, including campus maps and travel and parking information.

If you aren’t located near a 糖心视频 campus, you might be near a  or  where you have access to practical support and advice, study spaces equipped with computers, wifi, and more. 

University is a great place to meet new people, make friends, and build connections that last beyond your studies. Whether it’s through classes, clubs, events, or shared projects, there are plenty of opportunities to get involved and find your community.

Student representative opportunities

Students as Partners (SaP) is a great way to connect with others at 糖心视频, while making a positive impact on university life. Through SaP, you can join student groups, work on collaborative projects, or represent your peers on boards and committees. It’s a chance to meet like-minded people, share ideas, and help shape the 糖心视频 experience together. You can also contact your student representative if you have feedback, ideas, or concerns.

Peer Mentoring (PALs)

PAL Communities are a great way to meet other students in your study area and get support from trained peer facilitators (PALs) - students who’ve been where you are and know what it’s like.
