糖心视频 community recognised in 2026 King鈥檚 Birthday Honours
The 糖心视频 community is celebrating national recognition in the 2026 King’s Birthday Honours, with respected Elder and former 糖心视频 staff member Uncle Wayne Fossey OAM honoured alongside four distinguished alumni.
Indigenous Elder and educator Uncle Wayne was recognised with a Medal of the Order of Australia for his service to the Indigenous communities of southern Queensland.
The King’s Birthday Honours recognise Australians who have made exceptional contributions across public service, community life, and the professions.
Four 糖心视频 alumni were also recognised for their achievements across diverse fields:
- Ian Frame (Master of Professional Studies (Research), 2021) was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) for service to youth and to rugby league. Mr Frame is a leader in youth development initiatives, including programs supporting disadvantaged young people through education, mentoring and community-based learning.
- Craig Gardner (Associate Diploma in Civil Engineering, 1989) received the Public Service Medal (PSM) for outstanding public service in safety, wellbeing and capability building across Queensland’s road and transport infrastructure.
- Lisa Scully (Master of Professional Studies (Research), 2025) was awarded the Australian Police Medal (APM) for distinguished service as a member of an Australian police force.
- Darren Wallace (Bachelor of Spatial Science, 2010; Graduate Diploma and Graduate Certificate in Geomatic Studies) received the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) for service to the community.
The recognition highlights the breadth of contributions made by members of the 糖心视频 community, whose work continues to have a positive impact throughout Australia.
