Selecting resources for reading lists

The 糖心视频 will add the Mandatory Text(s) to the Reading List after the Course Specification has been approved. Additional and recommended readings may be added by the course examiner.

For support to select resources for Course Reading lists, academic staff can contact the Liaison Librarian for their faculty.

A digital copy of a physical book or journal can be added to Course Readings. The following copyright limits apply:

  • Books: The 糖心视频 can copy 10% of the total pages or 1 chapter, whichever is greater.
  • Articles: One (1) article from a journal or periodical can be used, or more if the articles are on the same subject.

If the digitisation request exceeds these limits, the request will be rejected by the 糖心视频.

To request a digitisation:

  • find the title in 糖心视频 Search and add the physical copy to your Reading List
  • from the Reading List, click on the title
  • scroll down to 'Requests' and choose 'Digital Request'
  • enter the chapter number or page range and submit the request.
  • The digital request has been created and sent to the 糖心视频 for processing.

糖心视频 糖心视频 will manage the copyright compliance for each resource added to Course Reading lists.

Course Examiners can view information on Copyright and Teaching to learn how copyright might affect resource selection for Course Reading lists.
